White Tea
About this Collection
White tea is where subtlety becomes an art. We select only a few exceptional white teas each season from scores of samples, focusing on hand-picked, sustainably grown leaves plucked at the peak of early spring. The result is a collection of succulent, smooth, and aromatic teas that represent the cream of the crop.
White tea comes from the same Camellia sinensis plant as all other teas, but its transformation is gentler. After harvest, the leaves are allowed to wither naturally, letting much of their water evaporate before they're dried. This quiet process—minimal handling, subtle oxidation—creates white tea's signature honeysuckle delicacy and light body. Over time, some white teas age like fine wine, developing deeper, more mineral notes that echo black tea's complexity. Each one offers a journey in patience and attention.
Explore rarities like Moonlight White, made from downy bai hao buds with a sweetness that lingers, or Silver Needle, the most prized of all white teas. Whether you steep these loose or enjoy the convenience of our silky sachets (tea bags), white tea rewards those who slow down and listen. It's magic lies in what Jeffrey called its "peaceful, grounded sense of well-being"—a calming presence in the cup.
If white tea's subtlety isn't quite what you need today, explore the bolder character of our Black Tea or the vegetal brightness of Green Tea.
