Savor Summer with Zhi’s new Wilde Strawberry Green Rooibos

Wilde Strawberry Zhi TeaWhile we love our traditional hot tea, living in Austin has provided us with a keen appreciation for a satisfying cup of iced tea.

Our favorite iced tea blends are refreshing, decadent, and healthy as well.

This month, we’re happy to introduce our newest hand blended signature: Wilde Strawberry Green Rooibos.

Healthy, tasty, vibrant, this soothing blend came from our desire to provide some new and super healthy herbs to our line, along with the lusciousness of strawberry and raw, green rooibos.

The result? A uniquely savory, slightly sweet, mild and soothing cup that can be drunk any time of day or night.

Real strawberries, bilberry leaf, strawberry leaf, and copious amounts of green rooibos. This tea is a super antioxidant treat with zero caffeine!

As always, your cuppa Zhi Tea can be enjoyed ice & hot! Have you tried this blend? We’d love to read your review!

Introducing, Violet Femme!

Pretty as a picture, Zhi’s new signature blend is a tea lover’s delight.

May we introduce you to our new hand blended original?

Please meet Violet Femme: a vanilla Earl Grey with notes of lavender.

Smooth, malty organic Assam tea is complimented with oil of bergamont, making this tea a ‘must’ for our Earl Grey fanatics.

Then, we compliment the citrus notes further with a floral blush of lavender. This makes the the tea even more aromatic without being overwhelming. To soften the bright notes common to bergamont and lavender, we round out the cup by adding vanilla. This creamy accent subdues the black tea blend and sweetens the cup by bringing in notes of carmalized brown sugar.

Balanced enough to be enjoyed on its own, Violet Femme is also great paired with cream and sugar. Bold, memorable, floral and flavorful, we hope you enjoy Zhi’s new signature blend.

Our ‘reviews’ feature on our website is open for your feedback and we’d love to hear your thoughts.  Please tell us what you think!

Zhi talks tea with Fresh Cup magazine

Every year, more and more customers are looking for higher quality tea. When Zhi was founded in 2007, specialty tea was just beginning. Today, two out of three homes have tea in their pantries (and we love when it’s Zhi tea ;)

But how does one start their relationship with tea?

In their article “Loving the Learning, “Fresh Cup magazine researched America’s growing tea culture and interviewed several tea retailers to talk about how to share tea education.

They found that while tea might be intimidating at first, simplicity and enthusiasm will be the shop owner’s tools to connect with their customers.

It’s Dr Oolong’s opinion that for beginning tea drinkers, experience trumps education. Do you agree?
