This tea has a subtle but unique flavor to it. Certainly one to savor rather than gulp down. I brew it at 200, seems to let the undertones come out more.

Like the teas very much!

My all time favorite black tea from Zhi Tea! I always keep this one on hand. The flavors are evocative of a place in the world that most people only imagine, not experience. I love the aroma and the taste and served hot with just a little cream and sugar makes the tea extra special for me. I think of it as a more mild black tea, but with unbelievable flavor.

This is an excellent tea: I may just make it my daily drinker! It's got an incredibly floral nose, almost like it's scented with something. It's not heavy or "dull", lacking high notes, like some black teas are. And while its nose is very fragrant, the body is also rich and stands up to milk well. If you swing that way, the floral nose also takes sugar well.
I find this tea shines best when 1.5 to 2 tsp are used per 8 oz instead of my normal 1 tsp, and don't let it over-steep, or the nose is attenuated.

Just when I think I have a specific favorite Zhi tea, I discover another one that is even better! The Nepal High Mountain black tea is wonderful. It has the most exotic flavor, blending the soothing, robust taste of black tea with a slightly fruity flavor and a pleasant floral aroma. Both of the sensations of fruit and floral are not overwhelming, but are subtle. I could drink this tea all day long! I prepared it with just a little cane sugar and milk. Absolutely a superb cup of hot tea!

I love this tea! I have been looking for an afternoon tea that is not as strong as a breakfast tea yet full of flavor - this Nepal high Mountain has a wonderful red-gold color and the leaves open up large to release a fruity, almost sweet, yet slightly earthy flavor that only a high-mountain leaf can attain! Wonderful!

I love this tea! Recommended by a friend. My first online order from Zhi. Very, very happy with the purchase.

I've been very pleased with this one! I usually look for Taiwanese High Mountain tea, so the Nepal one peaked my curiosity. It has been my morning to mid-Afternoon daily drinker while spending the last month at home social-distancing. Very agreeable way to start the day!
